Mya L. Adams M.Ed., LPC
Mya L. Adams M.Ed., LPC is the owner and Clinical Director of MindByMya & Associates. She is a dedicated and compassionate professional with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. Mya founded the practice out of a deep passion for providing superior and accessible mental health care. She is committed to empowering individuals through therapy, offering a safe and supportive space for healing and growth.
Throughout her career, Mya has worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient care, community mental health, and substance abuse recovery. This broad range of experience has shaped her holistic approach to therapy, which is rooted in themes of empowerment, social justice, and self-compassion. Mya is deeply committed to helping clients embrace their authentic selves while navigating life's challenges.
She believes in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship and strives to build genuine connections with her clients by showing up as a "real person" in sessions—using humor and a down-to-earth approach, while maintaining professional boundaries. This unique balance allows her clients to feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.
Mya holds a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Seattle University. She specializes in Grief & Loss, Body Image/Self-Acceptance, and working with the LGBTQIA+ community. Her extensive clinical experience includes helping clients manage or overcome a wide range of mental health challenges, such as Depression, PTSD, Gender Dysphoria, Body Dysphoria, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, Personality Disorders, Relationship Conflict, and Addiction.
As an eclectic therapist, Mya tailors her approach to each individual client, using a variety of therapeutic interventions based on the client's unique needs. She incorporates techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), ensuring that each session is personalized and effective.
Mya is passionate about empowering clients to build resilience and find their inner strength. Her warm, empathetic approach creates an environment where individuals can heal, grow, and thrive.

Karina Chandler, MA, LAMFT
Karina Chandler MA, LAMFT is a compassionate and experienced clinician with a passion for supporting underserved, marginalized, and stigmatized populations. With a deep commitment to the field of mental health, Karina’s career spans over 20 years and is built alongside a robust background in leadership, integrative care, and clinical operations. Her dedication to social justice, combined with her expertise in trauma-informed care, has driven her to lead and implement systems that support holistic healing for individuals from all walks of life.
Karina holds a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a focus on Latin American Studies from Alliant International University and is completing her dissertation for her Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the same institution.
An eclectic therapist by nature, Karina is adept at integrating a variety of therapeutic modalities to meet the unique needs of each client. Her expertise includes working with trauma, addiction, substance abuse, grief, and a wide variety of mental health challenges. Karina has worked with individuals struggling with depression, PTSD, anxiety, gender dysphoria, body image issues, and addiction, utilizing approaches like Trauma-Focused Therapy, DBT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Music Therapy. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, social justice, and empowerment, and she integrates personal narratives to build trust and resilience with her clients. She also emphasizes the importance of creating a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their identities, manage crises, and embrace healing.
Karina is deeply committed to expanding her work with marginalized communities and fostering inclusive environments where every individual feels valued and empowered to heal.
In addition to her clinical work, Karina has contributed to the field through her research and publications, focusing on vicarious trauma and the impact of art-based treatments. Her work has been published in journals such as the Art Therapy: Journal of the American Art Therapy Association.

Morgan DitchField MS, LAC
Morgan Ditchfield MS, LAC is a dedicated and enthusiastic counselor and an Air Force Veteran with nearly a decade of experience working with individuals who have experienced complex trauma. Her expertise includes helping clients navigate childhood abuse and neglect, combat and military sexual trauma, and survivors of narcissistic abuse. Morgan is passionate about empowering clients to heal from the past and create sustainable change in their lives.
Morgan earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision at Capella. She is deeply committed to both her clinical practice and long-term professional goal of training and educating future counselors. Morgan's therapeutic approach is rooted in her philosophy that while we may not be responsible for our wounds, we are responsible for our healing.
Morgan’s approach to counseling is client-centered and integrates the best therapeutic modalities tailored to each individual's unique needs. Her primary therapeutic frameworks include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Family Systems Theory, and Motivational Interviewing. Morgan believes in empowering her clients by providing them with the tools and understanding they need to navigate the counseling process and continue their personal growth long after therapy ends.
Specializing in complex trauma, anxiety, and personality disorders, Morgan works with a diverse range of clients, helping them rediscover and redefine the roadmap of their lives.
